People who don’t know what a Valkyrie is could almost consider themselves lucky. These influential figures, often shown as a woman in battle attire, decide the fate of soldiers that lost their lives in battle. They come from Norse Mythology and take centre stage in this new slot, known as Rise of the Valkyrie Splitz.

These two companies partnered on this game and, as a result, created a slot that players believe will stand the test of time. The symbols within Rise of the Valkyrie Splitz start with the four card suits, hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds. All of these aforementioned symbols award 0.4x the stake size when 5 match. From here, there are spears, a shield, a sword, a dragon, and a Viking temple, with the last symbol awarding 2x the stake size if 5 drop on a payline. 

Now, there are also three special symbols in this slot. The first are golden coins, which will display random multiples, between 1x and 88x the stake size. Collect symbols are the next special icon, which will add up all the random multiples shown on the coins and award them to the player. One of the features within this slot is based on the Splitz mechanic. When the golden Valkyrie symbol drops, it will automatically shapeshift into 2, 3, or 4 different symbols. This can be any icon, including golden coins and wilds. The only exception is the collect symbol.

The main bonus within Rise of the Valkyrie Splitz is the respin feature, which activates whenever six or more gold coins drop into the play zone. During this mode, the existing coins will be added to the top of a grid and made sticky. The respins will then begin, with three misses in a row ending the bonus. After that, all values on the gold coins will be added up and awarded to the play. Collect symbols can also appear during this round, with the same ability as they have in the base game.

Last but not least, there is an additional feature available in the game when the metre on the left is full. This feature is known as Side Strike and involves another bet that can be placed by the player.
