Blueprint Gaming who have brought us great slots such as Ted and Winstar have now created the classic cartoon Count Duckula slot. The Count is joined on the reels by a variety of symbols from the TV original, each assigned different values. There are 40 pay lines in play across the standard 5 reels, and symbols are set out across three horizontal rows in the main game. Combinations of three or more value symbols on any of the active pay lines will payout the win outlined in the game pay table, while combinations of just two symbols are required in the case of the Count Duckula logo and the wild symbol.

The Count Duckula symbol is the highest paying value symbol, and a combination of these on any payline wins up to 500x for five of a kind, the same award as for five of the wild symbols. The spooky organ symbol is next highest, paying at 200x for a combination of five.

The wild symbol in Count Duckula is the cartoon heart with a stake driven through it – probably Count Duckula’s worst nightmare, but beneficial for your game. It acts in the usual way, substituting in place of any symbols you are missing to complete paying combinations. It can also be used to extend paying combinations when a wild falls at the end of a combo, and whenever it appears, it can often bring combination wins onto you reels.

The framed Count Duckula portrait is the scatter symbol – three or more of these trigger the bonus round, which launches one of five different bonus mini-games as part of the Duckula Wall of Fame feature.

The RTP of the game stands at 93.35%, and players can bet from £0.20 to £500 per spin. There is no progressive jackpot – instead, the game’s main win stands at 500x, from landing five wilds or five Count Duckula logo symbols on any given payline.

Bonuses & Jackpots

At any time during the game, there is a random bonus feature that can be triggered. Igor, Nanny or Duckula can appear at the side of your reels and introduce a random bonus, which helps spice things up when you’re trying to build your bankroll. Igor appears and, true to form, smashes a bottle of magic potion on the reels. This creates mystery symbols which are added to the reels, as the same symbol for easier combinations.

Next, there’s Nanny, who brings a 3×3 Colossal Wild to the table. This makes a 3×3 grid of reel positions wild, which is a big help for completing paying combinations.

Finally, Count Duckula can introduce one of two features – Wilds or Winged Wins, respectively. In the case of Count Duckula Wilds, Duckula comes onto the reels and vanished into a wild symbol. In turn, more wilds are created and added to the reels, for an extra winning boost. In the Winged Win feature, Duckula removes symbols from the reels, leaving jackpot symbols in their place.

Aside from these random features, you can also expect the scatter bonus to take shape when you land three or more scatters on the board. This introduces a random one of five possible bonus features as detailed below.

The Raid Fire Cashpot is an instant win, which is most likely triggered when your tomato sauce meter is full. Duckula’s Big Money Bonus is the next feature, which offers a wheel-spinning bonus for more instant wins. Wild Heart Free Spins awards you 10 free spins on a new reel set, with 20 paylines and accruing wilds (for an extra, 11th spin).

The Dr. Von Goosewing bonus deliver 10 free spins, with the help of additional sticky wilds, while the Ancestor bonus allows you to pick winning multipliers for your stake. Lastly, there’s the Tombstone Bonus feature, which is a chance to pick tombstones to reveal instant cash wins.
