For those who aren't familiar with a 'Torii', they are Japanese gates that appear outside Shinto Shrines. There are quite a few special symbols in Torii Tumble, with the first being blockers, shown as stones. When other icons form combinations next to blockers, they will break, and if all stones are removed from the board, the win multiplier for the round will be doubled, as touched on in more detail below.

The first bonus feature in Torii Tumble is the multiplier meter at the top of the screen. During the base game, these multiplier values sit at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x, which will be applied to the potential winnings at the end of each spin. The multiplier will increase to the next value whenever a cascade sequence occurs, before being reset when no more matching combinations appear. It's also worth mentioning that if all stone blocker symbols are cleared from the board, the win multiplier will be doubled before it's applied. 

Special stones can also appear at any time, with red variations adding 1, 2, or 3 to the current multiplier meter. On the other hand, there are green stones, which are known as 'Spin Savers'. When no more matching combinations can form, all symbols will be removed from the board, with new ones dropping in from above. If the 'Spin Saver' is active, the multiplier will not reset until all cascade sequences have finished. 

Now, landing three or more scatter icons will trigger the main bonus mode, awarding eight free spins, alongside one more for any additional scatters. Should the bonus activate, the multiplier will be carried over to the free spins round and double in size. Just like in the base game, clearing the board of all stones will double the multiplier, too, while also awarding three more spins. Blue special stones also become active throughout the bonus, with the potential to award 1, 2, or 3 additional plays. 

Players also have the choice between three different variations of the bonus. The first option is the multiplier round, where special stone icons can contain +1, +2, or +3 multiplier boosters or more free spins. Next up is the Spin Saver mode, where special stones contain Spin Saver icons and additional spins. Finally, there is a gamble mode that will appear at the end of the round. Players can choose to wager for additional spins, with the multiplier values remaining the same.
