Every time you land a win, you'll trigger the tumbling reels feature. If you're a regular player, you will probably have encountered them before on other slots. They're also known as rolling reels or avalanches.

Tumbling reels remove the winning symbols from the board each time you land a win. The remaining symbols then shuffle down into new positions before replacement symbols drop down into the spaces from above. The game then checks for any new wins, and if some are found, the whole cycle repeats. This will continue until there are no more winning clusters visible.

Although tumbling reels are common, Sugar Rush adds a little extra sweetener. Each time a symbol is removed, its position is highlighted. If any other winning symbols are removed from a highlighted position, a multiplier is added to the position. This multiplier will double each time a symbol is removed from the position, up to a maximum of x128.

There are also scatters included on the board, and landing three or more at once will trigger the free spins round. During this bonus, any highlighted positions stay highlighted until the end of the round, and not just for that tumble.
