A classic fruit slot with a modern Slingo twist makes this game one to remember. Slingo Sweet Bonanza features a variety of features, visually appealing symbols, and of course, a bonus mode. While we will cover the various features later on, it’s worth mentioning that the bonus within Slingo Sweet Bonanza is fully interactive!
For anyone that is a fan of the Slingo style of games, it may come as no surprise to learn that Slingo Originals are behind this popular slot. However, this is not their first rodeo, with a handful of other popular releases such as Slingo Starbust and Slingo Centurion. These titles are typically based on existing slots, and this is no exception, with the original Sweet Bonanza being used as inspiration.
This game is played on a 5X5 grid, with players receiving ten spins. These spins will occur on the slot featured at the bottom of the grid, with five numbers or symbols being revealed per spin. Like with other Slingo games, the main aim is to match as many lines of numbers as possible. As more as matched, progress will be added to the bar on the left. Players can start a round of Slingo Sweet Bonanza with a minimum stake size of 0.20 per spin.
Slingo Sweet Bonanza has a few different special symbols to look out for. However, the main icons are obviously an array of other numbers. It's these that will help players to find Slingos and progressively move up the board.
There are wilds and super wilds, which allow players to cross off any number. Standard wilds mean that players can choose a number to remove on the same row, with super wilds allowing any number on the board to be crossed off.
Free spin symbols and scatters can also be found. Scatter icons are shown as colourful bombs, and free spin symbols are labelled clearly. Not all of the special symbols are good, however, with blockers being there to take up valuable slot space.
There are two ways to access the main bonus with Slingo Sweet Bonanza. The first is to land three or more of the previously mentioned bonus symbols across the reel at the bottom of the screen. 3, 4, or 5 of these icons will award 3, 4, and 5 picks, respectively.
Players will also be taken to the bonus round if they match 8, 9, or 10 Slingos, or achieve a full house. 8 Slingos will award 2 picks, with 9 awarding 4 spins. 10 Slingos will award 4 spins and a 2x multiplier. Finally, this multiplier will be increased to 4x if a full house appears on the board!
During this bonus mode, players are opted to pick different bombs. Behind each bomb is a multiplier, which will be applied to the stake size before being awarded to the player. These multipliers can reach a maximum of 100x per pick!
However, once all of the picks have been used, the bonus is not over. At the end of the round, players will have the chance to make another selection. However, this time they are looking for a lollipop and not a large multiplier. For anyone that has played the Sweet Bonanza slot in the past, this lollipop will likely be a familiar symbol! If found, the bonus will restart, completing refilling the starting number of picks.
It's no secret that the original Sweet Bonanza was a hugely popular slot. Slingo Originals certainly had a lot to live up to with this game. However, most punters seem to think that they've done a great job!
