Interestingly, the standard playing card-related symbols have been replaced in Retro Tapes Cluster Link, with different coloured cassettes taking their place. There is a grey, blue, green, pink, orange, and red cassette, which can award players with up to 5x, 5x, 25x, 25x, 500x, or 1,000x their stake size, respectively.

There are also a handful of special symbols to discuss. First up, we have a wild tape that can replace any of the previously mentioned icons to create a matching cluster. When five or more of these land in a cluster formation, they will be added up before the total is awarded to the player.

Magnet icons can also make an appearance within Retro Tapes Cluster Link. Should one appear, a random symbol will be chosen, with the corresponding icons then being pulled by the magnet to create a matching combination. This can also happen to instant win prizes, with the magnet also turning into the previously selected symbol to finish this feature.

Finally, there is a free spins bonus that will trigger if three or more wild tapes appear in any position across the board. Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 of these symbols will award 6, 8, 10, or 12 free spins, in that order. These wild tapes will then lock in place, with the same being true for any instant win prizes, which can accumulate throughout the bonus mode. At the end of the free spins, any instant win values will be totalled up and awarded to the player.
