As the name suggests, the main bonus mode in Little Gem revolves around a 'Hold and Spin mechanic. This can trigger if three or more coin symbols appear in view, and if they do, the player will be awarded with four respins to begin the round. Each of these coins will have a value of between 1x and 20x the bet size on them. However, diamonds will also be introduced for the bonus. Diamonds will have a value of between 100x and 500x the stake associated with them and can appear on any of the three reels.

Only coins or diamonds can drop during the round, and if they do, the symbol will lock in place for the rest of the round, and the number of respins will be reset to 4.
