A sequel to the popular Cash Eruption slot is here, and this one revolves around an intricate and beautiful Asian theme. Cherry blossom trees can be seen on either side of the board, alongside a selection of different Chinese lanterns. Another interesting aspect of Fai Cai Shu Cash Eruption is the inclusion of expanding wilds that will fill the reel whenever they are part of a combination. This slot features 5 reels and 20 paylines, with a minimum stake size of 0.20 per spin.
Fa Cai Shu Cash Eruption was produced by IGT, an iGaming company that focuses heavily on innovation. With this being said, a lot of their releases also include traditional, proven mechanics. Titles such as Treasure Hunt, Wheel of Fortune: Ruby Riches, and Juicy Loot are prominent within their ever-growing portfolio!
The basic symbols in Fa Cai Shu Cash Eruption consist of a lamp, a green stick, a selection of golden medals, and a basket. These can award players with up to 2.5x their stake size. Next up are the premiums, shown as a fish, a frog, a lion, a tree, and a golden tree. In the same order, these can award players with 3.75x, 5x, 5x, 10x, or 12.5x the bet if 5 form a combination.
Fa Cai Shu Cash Eruption also has a total of three special symbols. There is the wild, shown as a man holding a pot of gold. As mentioned earlier, this will expand fully if it's part of a matching combination. Scatter symbols have 'Free Spins' written on top of a golden background. Finally, there are fixed value icons, shown as a pot of gold.
Landing three or more scatter symbols will trigger the main bonus mode, where players will begin with six free spins. Additional spins can be awarded, with three more scatter icons awarding the same number of spins, up to a total of 15. This mode plays out in a similar way to the base game, with expanding wilds remaining active.
The other bonus in Fa Cai Shu Cash Eruption is based on a popular respin mechanic. It's known as the 'Ju Bao Bonus' game and can be triggered if six or more pots of gold appear simultaneously during the base game. Interestingly, this mode can also be activated if the aforementioned jumbo symbols are pots of gold, too.
Players start this round with three spins, with all of the triggering pots of gold locking in place. Should any more of these symbols appear, they will also become sticky, with the number of spins being reset to 3. Each of these pots of gold can either display a fixed value, based on the current stake size, or one of three different jackpots. There is a Mini, Minor, and Major jackpot, which sit at 5x, 25x, and 100x the bet.
Finally, if players manage to fill the entire board with symbols, they will be awarded with the Grand jackpot, which is always 10,000.00. Should the board not be completely filled, all of the fixed values and jackpots will be added up, before being awarded to the player when no lives remain.
With a stunning oriental theme and a variety of different bonus features, Fa Cai Shu Cash Eruption is a fitting sequel to the series. There are also a total of four different jackpots, which can only be awarded in the 'Ju Bao Bonus' round.
