The Megaways mechanism is licensed from Big Time Gaming, and Red Tiger has enjoyed using it on many of their games. However, the studio has been breathing fresh new life into existing titles such as Piggy Riches and Mystery Reels rather than start from scratch. It's now the turn of Dynamite Riches to enjoy a Megaways upgrade with supersized reels waiting to blast into action. 

As you'd expect with a Megaways title, there's a board of 6x7, giving you plenty of options for play. There aren't traditional paylines but 117,649 ways to win, making it much easier to check for winning matches at a glance. The betting range is relatively modest, stretching from 0.20 to 10.00, so it doesn't offer much for high rollers, despite having a medium to high level of volatility. 

Once you're all lined up and ready to play, you'll be taken deep below the surface. There's an industrial look to the game board in dark surroundings, but the upbeat hill-billy music adds a cheery note to the gloom every time you spin. There are nine different basic symbols on the board with playing card suits occupying the lower end of the paytable. The premium symbols are items you're more likely to find down a mine, including a miner's lamp, tools, helmet, a sack of gold nuggets and the wizened old miner himself.  

You'll find wilds in this slot to help you make more matches, but they're a pretty lucrative extra, so we're going to look at them in more detail in the next section. 

Dynamite wilds are the regular wilds, and every time they land on the reels, they're collected in the Feature Unlock Progress Bar, which can be seen at the top of the screen. You collect the wilds even if you don't use them in a winning combination.  

There are four features that can be unlocked with the dynamite wilds; these are opened successively depending on the number collected.  

15 of the dynamite wilds will release the TNT bonus, which removes all the low-value symbols from the reels for a single spin.  

Thirty dynamite wilds trigger Golden Wilds, which place up to 10 Golden Wilds on the centre four reels.  

With 45 dynamite wilds, you will be awarded a multiplier. When triggered, a compass appears on the screen and will spin to randomly award a multiple of between x2 and x10. This reward will remain available until your next regular win. If you land another multiplier before a win, the two will be added together for an even bigger payout.  

The top prize comes with 60 dynamite wilds: the Mega Wild feature. Up to four Mega Wilds will appear on the centre four reels, with each occupying an entire reel and carrying a multiplier of x2-x7. 

In addition to all the bonuses available with the dynamite wild features, there are also scatters. Land three or more scatters on the reels in a single turn, and you'll open the Gold Spins feature with 8-14 free spins awarded. The more scatters you land, the more free spins you'll receive. During the Gold Spins feature, every win adds a multiplier of up to x20. If you land three or more scatters during the feature, you will receive a further four spins. For every additional scatter, you'll get one further free spin. After the Gold Spins feature has finished, the multipliers are reset.
