With a huge variety of new themes that can be hard to grasp, sometimes it's nice to take things back to their roots. That's exactly what the Carts of Cash slot achieves, as it revolves around a traditional mining theme. A tunnel appears behind the board, while a miner holding a pickaxe and a golden nugget can be seen to the right of the screen.  

Another interesting aspect of this slot is that players can choose whether to cover 20 or 40 paylines across the five reels. This can be done by toggling the buttons on the left, shifting the minimum stake size to 0.20 or 0.40, respectively. 

Carts of Cash was created by Indigo Magic, a passionate group of individuals that set the bar high with their releases. They tend to opt for more traditional online casino slots, which is evident when browsing through their portfolio. Some of their previous titles include Phoenix Fury, Big Roar, and Golden Avalanche. 

Just like in many other slots online, Carts of Cash features the regular 10, J, Q, K, and A icons. These are followed by the premium symbols, shown as a hip flask, a pickaxe, a gold pan, a donkey, and a miner. Should five of these land along the same payline, players will be awarded with 2.50x, 3.00x, 4.00x, 6.00x, or 10.00x their stake size, in that order. 

The main symbol in this release is the golden nugget. Not only does it act as a wild, but also a fixed value symbol, with different variations also being possible during the bonus mode. Last up are scatter symbols, which are displayed as bags full of gold. 

Any instances of scatter symbols that appear will be collected in the carts at the top of reels 2, 3, and 4. Should these be filled, a random modifier will be applied to the spin, which may include standard wilds or multiplier wilds being added to the board.  

It's also possible that these carts award the main bonus mode, which is known simply as 'Golden Respins'. Players start this round with a total of 3 spins, and only golden nuggets can appear on the reels. If one or more lands, they will lock in place, and the number of spins will be reset to three. This continues until no more spins remain, at which point all values on the screen will be totalled up and awarded. 

There are also a few special variations of golden nuggets that can only land during the bonus round. First is the collect version, which will accumulate all nuggets on the screen and display the total value. The pay variation will award all other nuggets with the value shown. Finally, there is a 'Pop n Split' golden nugget, expanding the position it drops into 4. Each segment will then spin separately, and if all positions are filled, the other three nuggets will show the highest value of the four. 

The Carts of Cash release is certainly more simplistic when compared to modern online slots. All of the bonuses and modifiers can be triggered in the same way. However, there are plenty of different mechanics to keep players entertained!
