The first symbols in Buffalo King Megaways are the regular 10, J, Q, K, and A symbols that are found in many online slots. Premium symbols consist of a moose, a wolf, a mountain lion, an eagle, and a buffalo, which can award players with up to 1.5x, 1.5x, 3.75x, 6.25x, or 20x their stake size, respectively. Three symbols need to form a matching combination in order for the player to be awarded some potential winnings, apart from the buffalo, which only requires two. 

Buffalo King Megaways also has two special symbols. The first is a wild, shown as a giant rock formation. This symbol can replace any other standard or premium icon in order to form a matching combination. Finally, there is a coin scatter symbol, which can trigger the main bonus mode. 

There is only one bonus mode in Buffalo King Megaways, which can be triggered if 4, 5, or 6 coin scatter symbols land simultaneously.
