To start, Boat Bonanza includes the basic 10, J, Q, K, and A symbols. Moving swiftly on from these, next is a lobster cage, a fishing reel, a seagull, and a buoy. These can award a maximum of 50x, 50x, 100x, and 200x the bet size, respectively.

Boat Bonanza also contains a scatter symbol, which is shown as a red boat. There are also various fish symbols, known as the collect icons in the game. Both of these are linked to bonus modes, with more details being shared below!

There are two bonus modes in Boat Bonanza, with the first being based on a popular mechanic that most fishing slots include. Of course, this is the collect feature, with two different variations being present in this game. Randomly, boats can position themselves across various reels, with them either being greyed out or red in colour.  

Greyed out boats are inactive and won’t catch anything, but red boats will reel in any collect symbols on the same reel. There is also a mega variation of this mechanic, which can be triggered if two boats land on the same reel. Should this happen, all collect symbols will be reeled in, totalled up, and awarded to the players.

Free spins are the main bonus mode, which is triggered whenever 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols land across any of the reels. Players will either receive 10, 15, or 20 free spins, based on the number of icons that triggered this bonus. This mode plays in a similar way to the base game. However, the boats that collect fish can feature random multipliers. If this boat reels in a fish, the multiplier is applied to the potential winnings.

Another popular mechanic is introduced whenever fish symbols are collected, but this time, it’s the respin feature. The previously collected symbols will become sticky, with regular paylines being removed for the duration of the respins mode. When this happens, only collect symbols can drop into the play zone. 

Every time one of these icons is collected, an additional respin will be awarded until no fresh symbols drop. The collected symbols will then be added together and awarded.
