The Fisherman from the popular Big Bass series of online slots has decided to visit the Amazon, perhaps in search of some different catches. Although aspects of the title are the same, the background is considerably more vibrant, and a handful of different symbols have been used. In addition to this, the Big Bass Amazon Xtreme slot has sound effects that seamlessly match the Amazonian theme.

The standard symbols in this title are represented by the 10, J, Q, K, and A icons that fans of the series will be familiar with. Big Bass Amazon Xtreme also comes with three special icons, with fixed-value fish being the first. Next up is the fisherman wild symbol, which comes with the ability to replace any standard or premium icon to form a combination. It wouldn't be a fishing slot without the inclusion of a collect mechanic, with Big Bass Amazon Xtreme staying true to the trend. Fish can appear with values from 0.2x to 1,000x the current stake size on them, and randomly, the fisherman can throw his net over the board to reel them all in. Should this happen, all values will be totalled up and awarded to the player. 

Now, landing three or more scatter icons will trigger the main bonus mode. However, if two scatter icons are present and they can both move down by one row without falling off the board, the player can be awarded with a respin, offering another chance of activating the bonus. There is also a hook modifier that can randomly attach to one of the reels, bringing the third scatter into view. 

Before the round begins, players are taken to a 'Pick em' inspired mini-game that involves picking different pots at random until a boot is found. Each of these pots can award a different modifier for the duration of the round. It's also worth mentioning that if 4 or 5 scatter icons land in the base game, either 1 or 2 boots will already be revealed.  

These modifiers include the potential for up to three extra spins, or a maximum of three fishermen added to the progress bar at the start of the round. There is also the possibility for the two least desirable fish values to be removed from play, or the guarantee that 1, 2, or 3 fish symbols will appear on each spin. 

Fisherman symbols will collect all fixed value symbols for the duration of the bonus mode, and if one appears, it will also be added to the meter at the top of the screen. For every four fishermen that are accumulated, an additional ten free spins will be awarded, while the win multiplier moves up by a level. In order, the potential win multipliers for the bonus round sit at 1x, x2, x3, x10, x20, x30, x40, and x50. Of course, fishermen remain wild at all times, too! 

Big Bass Amazon Xtreme also features a variety of modifiers that can appear at random through the bonus mode. These have also been featured in other online slots in the Big Bass series; they may be familiar to some players. First up is the potential for fixed value symbols to appear on the board if a fisherman is present without anything to reel in. The second modifier revolves around a hook that can pull a fisherman icon into play, provided that at least one fixed-value icon is present. 

Next is the waterfall modifier that will transform all symbols into different ones, but this will not apply to fisherman icons. The last modifier is similar to the second one. However, the hook can appear to pull both a fisherman and a fixed value symbol onto the board.  

Big Bass Amazon Xtreme comes with an ante bet, allowing players to increase their stake size by 50%, in order to add more scatter icons to the reels. The bonus mode can also be bought for 100x the stake size. Both of these options, if applicable, are found to the left of the screen.

This title incorporates a lot of features from existing Big Bass slots but with a change of scenery and a couple of new icons. In the base game, the collect mechanic can also trigger randomly, without the need for a fisherman icon to appear!
