It's also worth noting that the main bonus mode will change the setting of this title entirely, with the background changing to a hidden cave that is overflowing with golden coins.  

Andvari The Magic Ring was produced by Foxium, a provider that clearly likes to think out of the box with their titles. In the past, they've released popular casino slots such as Akiva Claws of Power, Oink Farm, and Stumpy McDoodles, to name just a few.  

The standard symbols in this release are the J, Q, K, and A icons that are used across a range of online slots. Next up are the premium icons, displayed as a scroll, a log, a potion, and the magic ring, which can award players with up to 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x their stake size in that order. 

Premium icons include wilds, shown as golden Ws, which can replace any of the aforementioned icons as part of a matching combination. There are also scatter icons, displayed as a wizard alongside golden fixed-value coins. 

The first bonus round included in Andvari The Magic Ring is known as Lock n Win, which can be triggered when six or more fixed-value coins appear on the screen. It's similar to respin bonuses found in other slots online, awarding players with a total of 3 spins on a board where only additional coins can land. The triggering coins will lock in place, and if any other coins appear, the number of spins will be reset to 3. 

During the Lock n Win round, coins can display a fixed value, a magic prize, a multiplier upgrade, or a magic prize upgrade. Magic prizes act as jackpots within this title, with the mini, minor, major, epic, and grand variations sitting at 50x, 100x, 250x, 1,000x, or 5,000x the stake size, respectively. A multiplier upgrade coin will multiply all fixed-value icons by 10x, while the magic prize upgrade will move all jackpot coins up a level. For example, mini would become minor.  

This continues until either all positions on the board are filled, or all of the spins are used. All coins on the board will then be totalled up, and the corresponding potential winnings will be awarded to the player. 

Now, the bonus symbols mentioned earlier can award players with a fixed value of between 1x and 25x the stake size, or one of the five magic prizes. In addition to that, bonus symbols are collected and added to a meter at the top of the screen, with progress being saved for each stake size. When this bar is full, players can spin a wheel to reveal either a fixed value, one of the magic prizes, or entry into the main bonus mode. 

In addition to via the wheel, the main bonus round in Andvari The Magic Ring can be triggered by landing three scatter icons. To start this mode, players will spin yet another wheel, with the outcome deciding how many free spins will be awarded.  

The number of spins will sit between 10 and 30. However, players can choose to gamble these if they want. A successful spin will see the number of spins increased, while a losing turn will award players with 10x to 100x their stake size before taking them back to the base game. No new mechanics are introduced during the free spins bonus mode. However, it can be retriggered by landing three more scatter icons.
