Amazing Link Hades

The Amazing Link series of online slots games is arguably one of the most popular creations to come from the SpinPlay Games studio. As the name suggests, the Hades variation focuses on Greek mythology, with the god of the underworld being the main character. The background consists of a dimly lit colosseum, and at the top of the screen, a fiery pot can be seen surrounded by gold coins. Players may also notice the four different jackpots on the left, which we will cover later in this review. The Amazing Link Hades comes with 5 reels, 20 pay lines, and a minimum stake size of 0.20 per spin! 

As we mentioned at the start of this review, Amazing Link Hades was created by SpinPlay Games, a studio that works exclusively with Microgaming. In addition to a variety of casino slots in the Amazing Link series, they have also produced a range of other titles, such as Action Boost Gorilla Gems, Mustang Riches Blazing Ways, and Dragon's Cache. 

When it comes to standard symbols, Amazing Link Hades features the standard 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A icons that have become synonymous with slots online. Premiums are a little more interesting, consisting of three keys, Hades' bident, a helmet, and a Cerberus. If 5 of these fall along the same payline, players will be awarded with 2.4x, 2.4x, 3.2x, or 4x their stake size, respectively. 

Moving on to the special symbols, the gold coin and burning coins act as the fixed-value icon in this release. There is also a scatter icon, shown as a boat, with the wild symbol being Hades himself. Scatter icons can trigger the bonus mode, while wilds can substitute for any standard or premium symbol. It's also worth mentioning that wild symbols can appear fully stacked on the reels. 

Let's start this section by looking at the bonus mode related to the four jackpots on the left of the screen. There is a mini, minor, major, and mega variation that sit at 16x, 40x, 400x, or 4,000x the current stake size, in that order. During any spin, at random, the associated round can trigger, taking players to a board with 12 golden coins. These can be picked in any order, with each coin revealing one of the jackpots when selected. This continues until three of the same jackpots appear, and the associated potential winnings are awarded! 

Should six fixed-value coins appear simultaneously, the Amazing Link feature will trigger. All coins will lock in place, and a total of three respins will be awarded to the player. Should one or more coins land on the board, they will also become sticky, and the number of spins will be reset to three. When no more spins remain, all values on the screen will be totalled up and awarded to the player. If all the spaces on the board are filled, players can also be awarded with the mega jackpot! 

The third and final bonus mode can be activated when three scatter icons appear in any position on the board. Players will start the round with ten free spins, and one 'Amazing Wild' reel will also be introduced. During each spin, only burning coins can appear on this reel, acting as both wild and fixed-value icons. These count towards the Amazing Link feature and can also help players to form matching combinations along the way!
