The hugely popular Age of the Gods series is back with another release, featuring a range of mechanics that made the previous titles so favoured. After the tutorial screen disappears, players will be prompted to adjust the number of lines and bet size, before being presented with a view of a village located in Aeolia. For those that aren't familiar with Ancient Greek mythology, this island is home to Aeolus, god of the winds, but more on him later. Age of the Gods: God of Storms 3 comes with 5 reels, 25 paylines, and a minimum stake size of 0.01.

Just like in many other casino slots online, the 10, J, Q, K, and A icons all appear on the reels in Age of the Gods: God of Storms 3. In order of desirability, the premiums consist of a shield, a Kraken, a warrior, Artemis, and a fully armoured Spartan. Should five of these form a matching combination, players will be awarded with 6x, 6x, 8x, 10x, or 20x their stake size per line. 

Special symbols are made up of two different variations of wild. The first is shown as a scroll, while the other appears as a ship. Of course, these can replace any of the other symbols as part of a combination, but the ship wild can also trigger two of the bonus modes! 

Should one or more ship wild land partially in view, any coin symbols on the board will be collected and awarded to the player. The coins will then cascade off the board, and wilds will fill the space left behind. Any combinations will then be evaluated, alongside a 1x, 2x, or 5x win multiplier being active, depending on whether 1, 2, or 3 wilds appeared. 

If one, two or three ships land fully stacked, the main free spins bonus mode will trigger. During this mode, players will receive 3, 4, or 5 spins at random, with all coins becoming sticky if they appear. It's also worth mentioning that if two or three ships land fully stacked, they will merge into one, on reel 3, with an associated multiplier of 2x or 5x, respectively. 

Now, at the end of each spin, Aeolus will appear to the left or right of the board, blowing the fully stacked wild in the corresponding direction. The symbol will move one reel at a time, and if it passes through any coins, they will be collected and awarded to the player. Of course, matching combinations are evaluated after each spin, too. 

Age of the Gods: God of Storms 3 also features the Playtech progressive jackpots, of which there are four. At random, players may be taken to a screen with 20 different coins in view. Upon clicking a coin, it will reveal one of the jackpots, with this continuing until three of the same appear. The corresponding jackpot will then be awarded to the player before they're taken back to the base game.
