Raging Rex 2 doesn’t have a ‘2’ in it for no reason. It’s a sequel to the original Raging Rex, which obviously proved popular enough to garner a follow-up. We're not sure if much looks different from one to the other, but Play’n GO have changed a few symbols up and made some huge cash value modifications. There are then the higher paying symbols which are still a selection of dinosaurs, just not the same dinosaurs as in the first instalment.

There are 2 wild symbols in a t-rex and a baby t-rex, and these are the icons that can act as any symbol in the slot to possibly help form a winning combination. The only symbol they can’t substitute is the egg, which is the scatter.

This is another area where Play’n GO decided to upgrade on what was delivered in the original. Landing 3 or more egg scatter icons on the same spin will trigger a free spins feature. However, instead of 2 different spins games from which you could select, in Raging Rex 2, there are now three spins features.

You can select eight free spins in the Primal Fury option, and in this one the t-rex wild falls only as the wild but expands to cover the reel it lands on. T-rex is sticky when it lands, moving left or right with each spin after until it falls off the reels.

The second option is seven free spins in Hatchling Mania. Only the baby t-rex will fall as the wild and also expand plus be sticky. There's also the advantage of the wilds carrying 2x or 3x multipliers which get applied to wins.

The last option is Jurassic Mayhem. This sees only five free spins available, but both t-rex wilds and hatchling wilds will fall.

All in all you'll see that Raging Rex 2 isn't a bad slot at all.
