It’s time to head to Rome as soldiers march in time with the beat of a drum. This particular game focuses on one soldier in particular, who some punters may have seen before in the popular Maximus Soldier of Rome Megaways online slot. This Slingo is based on that game, with the two bonus modes being almost identical.

Slingo Originals produced this game. However, they did not do it alone. The producer partnered up with Inspired Gaming to make this happen, with the duo already releasing some other Slingo titles in the past, such as the Reel King variation. Of course, Slingo Originals have also produced a handful of games off their own back, including Mad Scatters Tea Party. 

Interestingly, there are no fixed value prizes when playing Slingo Centurion. Landing 5 or more Slingos will award one of 7 bonus modes, which will be covered in more detail later.

Of course, the main symbol that players will be looking for is the numbers that appear across the bottom reel. Crossing off a full line will land a Slingo, which means that an additional bar of progress will be added to the chart on the left of the board. 

Wild and super wild symbols can also help, with wilds allowing the player to choose a number on the corresponding reel to cross off. Super wilds perform in a similar way but don’t limit the player to a specific reel. Wilds are shown as jesters with red hats, while super wilds are the same but with green hats. Finally, there are blocker symbols, which are represented as devils. 

This is perhaps where Slingo Centurion really stands out from the crowd, with an impressive seven different bonus modes. These are awarded for matching 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 Slingos, alongside a full house. Bonus number one is Reelus Maximus, where players will receive one spin on a 5 x 3 slot. However, reels 1, 2, and 3 will be covered by a colossal symbol, which will be randomly selected at the start of play. 

Matching 6 Slingos will unlock Prize on Parade, where players will collect multipliers before collecting their potential winnings. Next up is Caesar's Free Spins, which is also played on a slot. Before this game mode starts, players will spin two wheels to determine the number of spins and starting multiplier. These are then played out before any possible winnings are awarded. The final bonus, for completing a full house, is Wild Power Spins. Players will be taken to yet another slot, with fully expanded wilds being added to reels 2, 3, and 4 progressively. These wilds can also stack for larger multipliers.
