The title gives away that this casino game is a part of a sequel series, following Money Train the original from Relax Gaming. The first instalment was released in 2019 and was a runaway success with plenty of Wild West action to keep even the fussiest of CA players captured and engrossed. 

All of the action takes place on a decrepit train, which is fully functional although looks would not have led us to that conclusion. The grid is jammed on board and includes five reels with 40 paylines. Betting starts from a meagre 0.20 and climbs to a relatively modest 20.00. High-budget rollers who enjoyed the first game in this series may be disappointed with the reduction in the available stake but the slot makes up for it in other ways. The x50,000 still makes it more than worth playing, especially when you consider the high level of volatility too. 

There's a very rough and dystopian atmosphere to the slot, regardless of the shining sun and blue skies overhead. The heat of the sun is the only warmth you'll feel from this industrial landscape where there's no one in sight to offer a cheery smile. Instead, you'll be riding into a ghost town with derelict shanty buildings, silently watching the rattling train of rogues. So if you like an unsettling, horror-Esq landscape you'll be impressed.

The four playing card suits make up the low pays, a reasonably mundane start to the gameplay. The premium symbols feature four of the dubious characters who are in the gang, but if you see them, it's good news. Bumping into a Mexican mobster would not be something I usually recommend, but in this case, it could net you a prize of up to x20. 

And just to add to the depressing atmosphere, a skull turns up to add to the downbeat mood. But surprisingly, it’s here to help as the skull is the wild and can help you to create more winning lines. 

The scatter symbols are at the centre of the bonus features in Money Train 2, and there’s more than enough for robbers to get stuck into. 

Land three scatters, and you'll unlock the Money Cart Bonus Round, but if you only manage to land a pair of scatters, you'll trigger the Respins bonus instead.

In the Respins bonus, you'll receive a random multiplier from each of the scatters; these are added together to get a total. The reels will then respin, and keep on respinning until you land a win. Landing the extra scatter will allow you to bypass the Respins bonus and head straight onto the Money Cart Bonus, which plays out on a different board. Only multipliers and certain symbols can land on the grid, and on each spin, the tiles will either be blank or display one of these.
