The base game features a 5 reel, 3 row grid. Due to the mechanics of the game, there are no paylines. The Scatter is the key to unlocking the riches of the Free Spins round so appropriately enough; it's a treasure map. This can land anywhere on the reels, and three or more landing on the same spin will trigger Free Spins. 

Diego is the Wild. He won’t give you any treasure in his own right, but he’ll help you get to the Aztec gold by standing in for all symbols except the scatter. 

There’s also an Aztec coin that can appear on top of the treasure map in Free Spins, and when it does, you’ll be very pleased.
