The least desirable symbols in Wild Link Frenzy are the standard 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. Up next is a blue fly, a red fly, a tackle box, a boat, and a scenic view of the Alaskan countryside. Should five of these form a matching combination, players can be awarded with up to 3x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x their bet, in that order. 

Wild Link Frenzy also has four different special symbols to look out for. Wild symbols are shown as the fisherman himself, with the ability to replace any standard or premium icon along a payline. Scatter icons, displayed as golden reels, are responsible for triggering the main bonus mode. There are also fixed-value fish, alongside a rainbow version, known as the 'Fishing Frenzy' symbol. 

The first bonus mode in this slot is known as 'Wild Link', which can be triggered if a wild symbol appears on reel 1. Should this happen, it will tilt fully into view, and the other 4 reels will expand by 3 rows, with all of the fixed-value fish icons being reeled in and awarded to the player. At the end of every spin, any fish on the screen will be added to the basket held by the fisherman, if they are not collected. All wild fisherman symbols will be collected as they appear, with every 4 awarding ten additional spins. The potential win multiplier will also be upgraded to 2x, 3x, and 10x, respectively. If a total of 12 fisherman icons are collected, no more retriggers are possible. 

Finally, jackpot icons can appear during the free spins mode, with the mini, minor, and major jackpots rising in line with the current win multiplier. In order for one of these to be awarded, the corresponding fish must be collected or appear as part of the 'Fishing Frenzy' feature. A mega jackpot symbol can land at any time, too; however, the potential winnings for this symbol will remain at 5,000x the stake size, regardless of the win multiplier.
