Trends in streaming services in the UK 2022

PartyCasino conducted a survey in the UK on 8 December 2022 with 1500 participants, ages ranging from 18 to 54. The survey consisted of 15 questions with multiple choices around subscriptions for streaming services and streaming habits in the last 12 months.

Streaming of shows and programmes, live events and all types of entertainment has become the biggest way for consumers to access their desired content.

Subscription based platforms, live streams through social media platforms (YouTube and Instagram), and global sports and live events are consumed through streaming all over the world, and nowadays through all age groups.

The surveys screening question on if participants use a traditional subscription for any type of streaming service was followed by a few questions regarding some of the biggest tv-series of 2022, but also looks at:

·  How streaming services has replaced other media subscriptions

·  What the important factors are when signing up for a new subscription

·  What users expect to see more of in the future

·  If they would sign up for a new streaming service for a particular tv-series?
