Slingo Originals are back with another release, this time in the form of Slingo Lightning, an online slot game that is loaded with features and symbols. It’s incredibly easy for players to get involved with the action found in Slingo Lightning. To start, players need to select a stake size, which sits at a minimum of 0.20 per round. Each game will consist of 8 spins, with 5 different numbers or special symbols being displayed across the 5 reels. If any numbers are matched, they are marked off the main card.

As these numbers are crossed off, they will eventually form full lines, which are known as Slingos. The more lines that are matched, the greater the potential rewards. For example, a full house can award players with the maximum possible win, which sits at 200x the stake size. 10 Slingos will award 50x, 9 Slingos will award 25x, and so on.

Besides keeping an eye out for matching numbers, other special symbols can randomly appear when playing Slingo Lightning. Additional symbols include blockers, which players will want to avoid. These do nothing except take up space on the reels located below the board of numbers.

Next, there are two different variations of wild symbols, standard and super. The standard wild will allow players to cross off a symbol along the same reel it lands on. Super wilds mean that any symbol across the board can be removed. If either of the wild icons are shown on the main reel, a number must be picked manually by the player. Finally, there are free spin symbols that will award another set of 5 numbers when they land.

Unfortunately, there are no main bonuses or jackpots to speak about within Slingo Lightning. However, this game does have fewer total numbers than traditional Slingo. Standard alternatives will commonly play with 75 numbers, while Slingo Lightning only contains 50. While this might not seem like a very exciting feature within itself, it can help players to make Slingos and work their way up the table on the left!  

Another interesting mechanic within the game is the option to purchase additional spins at the end of play. The total cost will vary and will be based on the total amount of numbers that have already been matched.
